If your local veterinarian carries geZond Pet’s Pemmican, yes. Prices may vary.

## Will my pet get high on geZond Pet's Pemmican?
No, geZond Pet's Pemmican is made in small batches with geZond’s own Sativa landrace which contains less than 15% delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Because we do not decarboxylate the THCa, our product is not psychoactive. Instead, we cure our plants for two years to naturally lower the THC levels and raise the cannabinol (CBN) levels to 3–5%.

## What is cannabinol (CBN)?
CBN is the cannabinoid credited for easing chronic discomfort, promoting restorative sleep and increasing healthy appetite in all vertebrates. The natural way to turn THCa into CBN is to let the plants cure for a long time. At geZond we cure plants grown specially for Pet’s Pemmican for at least two years after harvest to get the highest percentage of CBN for your pet’s benefit.

## How much cannabis is in each block of geZond’s Pet’s Pemmican?
We blend 5 grams of time-cured cannabis buds and crown leaves into 250 grams to provide a microdose of 0.2 grams of geZond’s Cannabis Sativa landrace in each bite, which is slowly absorbed in the GI tract over 2–3 hours. This imitates how mammals have been nibbling on cannabis plants for at least 10 million years.

## How many blocks can I give my large dog?
To keep dogs calm during stressful times, such as grooming visits, fireworks or thunderstorms, use a ratio of one block for each 10 kilograms that your dog weighs. To maintain your dog's health via microdosing, give it one block a day.

## Why are there seeds in geZond Pet's Pemmican?
We include raw cannabis seed for the ideal 3-to-1 ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids in each seed, as well as high levels of beneficial linoleic, alpha-linolenic and gamma-linolenic acids, all of which work together to protect the cardiovascular system and lower both blood pressure and inflammation, including itchiness from eczema.

## Is geZond Pet's Pemmican also suitable for cats?
Yes, though most cats prefer catnip. Reduce the serving of geZond's Pet's Pemmican to a quarter-size block and limit this tiny serving to once every 48 hours. Allow the cat to eat on its own; do not force or trick the cat into eating.

## My dog stole and ate the whole slab of geZond Pet's Pemmican. Can it overdose on it?
No, as Witont, our resident bully, has now proved several times, the cannabinoids not used to activate the various receptors in your dog's endocannabinoid system will be stored in its body fat to be used later.

## What is the endocannabinoid system?
Think of the endocannabinoid system as the body’s internet wiring system and cannabinoids as the data that enables signalling. All vertebrates, including humans, have an endocannabinoid system, which is made of billions of cannabinoid receptors that regulate mood, sleep, appetite and immune responses to maintain the body's homeostasis. ## Can humans eat geZond Pet's Pemmican?
Yes, though humans looking to get high will be disappointed. Humans needing chronic pain relief, deep sleep or calmness can join the geZond Club to get the products designed to deliver these effects. Humans looking for pemmican for emergency rations can email us to organise a custom supply.

## Can my dog eat geZond's products for humans?
No. Do not give pets ANY cannabis edibles made for humans. High doses of THC in human edibles may cause adverse effects in pets. Give your pets only microdoses of raw cannabis, as provided by geZond's Pet's Pemmican.

## Can I feed my dog a diet of only geZond Pet's Pemmican?
No, geZond Pet's Pemmican is a supplement intended to provide relief from chronic discomfort and help manage stress, not a full meal. Email us if you require bulk pemmican formulated to give a working dog the daily nutrients it requires.

## What is a “landrace cannabis”?
A landrace is any cannabis plant growing wild and seeding itself. Compared with carefully cultivated clones containing approximately 30% THC that are typically grown for cannabis clubs, geZond’s landrace plants are “weak”, giving approximately 15–20% THCa and 0.5–1% CBD.
